[August 13, 2026] Supply has decreased, and prices of some local LNG products have risen!

Current Situation

Currently, domestic LNG plants are undergoing maintenance and resuming production simultaneously, resulting in a fluctuating supply situation with both increases and decreases. Yesterday, several factories including Inner Mongolia Xingjie, Xinjiang Haimi Hongtong, Qian'an Jiujiang, and Xinhe New Energy were either under maintenance or suspending sales. This led to a tightening of local resource supply.

At the same time, Shaanxi Hengkai has resumed production and resumed sales, while Guanghui Nao Maohu slightly increased production for external shipment, which somewhat offset the supply reduction. In terms of demand, the current period is still in the traditional off-season for consumption, and overall terminal demand is weak.

However, some LNG plants are facing cost overhang, which provides certain support for the LNG price. On the supply side, the raw gas auction plan for direct supply to all LNG plants in China (excluding users of LNG plants around Inner Mongolia Oilfield) is scheduled to be held on Friday morning this week. Market speculation has significantly increased. Overall, it is expected that the domestic LNG price will remain stable and gradually rise in the short term.
