[September 7, 2026] Five consecutive price hikes! Domestic LNG prices have collectively risen!

Today's Situation

Today, the domestic LNG prices have risen continuously for the fifth day in a row. On the supply side, with the increase in maintenance of liquid plants in the northwest, the continuous production restrictions at coke oven gas plants, and the low inventory levels at factories in Inner Mongolia and Shanxi, the upstream dealers have a strong reluctance to sell. 

Today, the domestic LNG prices have risen collectively. Among them, the benchmark LNG plant in Shaanxi Extension increased by 150-170 yuan/ton. The continuous rise in the northwest has led to active adjustments in the surrounding areas. Under the mentality of "buying when prices rise and not buying when they fall", the willingness of traders to stockpile has increased.

With controllable inventory levels, it is expected that the short-term LNG prices will move upward. Considering the increase in local heavy trucks, the local upward trend is expected to slow down.
